Here’s a note from the Friends of the Pawtuxet about Saturday’s market:
Annemarie Bruun will offer a free composting workshop at Saturday’s market at 10 AM. That same day, New England Rainbarrel will sell their rain barrels and outdoor composters at the market. Annemarie will show how to use the rolling composter and demonstrate other outdoor composting techniques that do not require special equipment. She will also sell worms for worm composting.
You do not have to buy anything to attend the workshop. Just show up.

Thanks to all those who filled out the Rhode Island seafood survey at last week’s market. Sam Grimley, the URI graduate student conducting the survey, said the response was the most enthusiastic of all the markets he has visited. If we get a report on the results we will share it.
See you Saturday at the market.
