Senate Candidates Debate, Fogarty Hosts a Public Forum

District 28 Senate Candidates Robert J. Clarkin {R}, Joshua Miller {D} and Alexander G. Russolino {I}, will be participating in a debate. The event will take place on Sunday, September 7, from 7 to 9 PM at the Hall Library. The debate will be moderated by Cranston Herald reporter Elizabeth Seal.

Across town and three days later, Democratic Mayoral candidate Cindy Fogarty will be holding an open forum for members of the community to ask questions and discuss issues. The forum will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, from 6:30 to 8 PM, at the Central Library meeting room, 140 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston, RI. The Fogarty camp asks that you bring non-perishable food items to the forum, to be donated to the Cranston Community Action Program.

The candidate is reportedly in the process of arranging a debate with Republican Mayoral hopeful Allan Fung.
